President’s Message

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the members of this organization for the great success and support of GIAIA over the years of my involvement. I would also like to thank
Past-President Cliff Tackett, the board members, and the association members for their support as I move forward into 2011. The simple mission of the association is to offer support, training, uniform standards, and integrity in the field of Internal Affairs across the state of Georgia. I believe there is no greater cause than to ensure that the public can trust its peace officers. As such we are each charged with investigating our own law enforcement brothers and sisters and rendering honest and thorough investigations. The Georgia Internal Affairs Investigator’s Association exists to further that cause. I hope that you will visit the site often and become involved in the association. If you have suggestions for the organization regarding training topics, website improvement, training locations, or ideas on how we can better serve you, please contact me or any board member.
