2010 GIAIA Training Topic - Interviews & Interrogations
Lisa Skinner, Instructor from the FBI Academy in Quantico, Va. will once
again instruct this year's conference. This will be a continuation from
last year's class on Statement Analysis into the Interviews &
Interrogations as an Internal Affairs Investigator. The course will
contain the following items as they pertain to interviews &
interrogations.
Active listening
Structure of the Interview
Cognitive Interviewing Techniques
Detection of Deception
Interrogation Strategies
There will be practical exercises for active listening, cognitive and
interrogation. If time allows there will some additional training on
Handwriting Analysis.
NOTE: This conference will credit each attendee 16 Hours training for
POST Credit.
